Hi! I'm Bea, I hope you and your family are doing well! I have an immense passion for providing enriching and nurturing care for children. I would love to have the opportunity to contribute to your home environment in a supportive and loving way. My favourite part of caring for children is sharing in their excitement, whether it’s a leaf captured on a walk, a stone scavenged in the garden, a new skill learnt, or a new passion discovered I want to share in the joy of these moments and celebrate every achievement they make throughout the day. I have over two years of Nannying experience with kids ages two weeks to fifteen years. I have always fully immersed myself in the families have cared for, loving the children as if they were my own, taking it upon myself to research creative activities to do with them and unique ways to support their development and engage them in enriching activities. I love playing alongside them, talking to them, listening to their ideas and stories and finding interesting and creative ways to engage them in learning new skills. Developing a solid relationship with them is so important to me as I want them to always feel safe and secure when I am caring for them. I understand the importance of providing a safe and structured environment while still being fun, nurturing and engaging. The most important thing to me in nannying is ensuring that parents come home to a happy, calm and clean home so that once they are home they can focus on spending time with their kids I have been a tutor for children ages six to eighteen for almost six years. I can teach a range of subjects such as English, Business, Mathematics, Science, Visual Art, Humanities, Legal Studies, Digital Technologies, History, Geography, Philosophy and Psychology. The most important thing to me is building children’s confidence, supporting them to overcome any challenges they face and equipping them with the skills to help themselves. I have also been babysitting for six and a half years and I absolutely love it, I love preparing activities to do with the kids, playing with them, finding ways to engage them and hopefully getting to build trusting long-term relationship with the kids so that it’s a happy and peaceful experience for both them and their parents. I am currently in my third year of a Bachelor of Psychological Science; majoring in child development and education. I hope to go on to complete my masters and doctorate to become a child developmental psychologist. Through my degree I have developed thorough knowledge of child development and ways to nurture and encourage healthy development in children from their first week of life up to their fourteenth year. I have a current working with children check, police check, first aid and CPR (including infants) as well as an ABN. I can also provide professional references upon request.I am more than happy for you to reach out with any questions or concerns you may have, also I’m happy to organise a time to call and have a chat so you can get to know me better. I look forward to hearing from you!
