Hi I’m Lucy! Ive recently relocated from the Sunshine Coast to Toowoomba. I’ve previously worked at Sippy Downs Early Learning Centre as an assistant educator and am finishing up my Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours). At the childcare, I worked with babies in the Nursery, as well as Toddlers, Junior Kindy, Senior Kindy and Kindergarten children. I am passionate about caring for children and giving each of them an equal opportunity to learn and enjoy life in the best way they can. I aspire to ensure each child feels safe and supported, and that children are always provided with positive and fun learning experiences. I am also currently studying my Cert III in Early Childhood Education and Care. I also have my blue card, first-aid and CPR qualifications. I have experience with children aged 6 weeks to 16 years. I’ve also done teacher aiding, extensive babysitting, coached junior netball teams and have a brother with a physical disability so have plenty of patience and enthusiasm ready to go. Im a confident swimmer, I’m from a big family and also have 2 cats and a dog so I’m comfortable around animals if they’re in the house and am also conscious of keeping the house tidy after play, learning or eating times. I love children and am from a big family myself. I loved to be organised and creative, with playing outdoors and indoors so that your child has the best time with me.
