I have worked with children for over 8 years, working with infants right up to teenagers! I have my Diploma in Early Childhood Care and have worked in childcare for 6 years. I have just graduated with my Bachelor of Primary Education and I have been teaching Year 3 out in Palm Island this year. Im new to the Kiddo platform but have over 20 yrs experience babysitting (on & off) and have worked with all ages of children in a wide variety of roles mostly based around sporting & outdoor/adventure activities. I have also spent a considerable amount of time over the past 7 yrs caring for my sisters 4 gorgeous kids. Ranging from 4 hr stints to overnights & weekends, all the way through to caring solo for her 2 year old for 10 days while her & hubby travelled overseas a couple of different times. Unfortunately their beautiful family moved north so Im enjoying sharing my skills with other families now and I always aim to play the role of a fun and loving Aunty with all of the other children I care for too!

I enjoy being an allrounder. Im able to supervise, play games inside/outside, read books, basic education, park/beach outtings, drop offs/pick ups, sleepovers & extended periods of care in house.
Also if time permits Im able to help with light duties/basic chores - tidy up, laundry, dishes, run errands, afternoon/evening/bedtime routine.

In my early adult life I travelled overseas as a nanny in USA & UK for a couple of years. I then continued working with children through childcare or babysitting.
I’ve since then had 3 children aged 13 & twins aged 7 (so I also have multiple birth experience). This year I have been babysitting casually a now 1 year old.
