We are seeking a quick commencement, working alongside other support workers with our clients, this team support role is based in Kippa Ring, Moreton Bay. Our centre based clients are typically children and teenagers with a range of disabilities. You will need to bring your high level behavioural support skills, your critical thinking, risk management and negotiation skills along with your warm, engaged and fun-loving personality.

This role is not for the faint hearted. We work with multiple neurodiverse clients, many of whom are non-verbal and considered high risk. To do this we provide a unique model of support in a purpose built centre, with community access plans and home based supports as well. You need to be able to follow a group plan, contribute effectively to strategy reviews and hold your own when managing complex behaviours, while maintaining a neuro-affirming approach to support.

You will require:

1. Qld WWC and NDIS Worker Screening check

2. Current police check

3. Drivers Licence, Car and comprehensive insurance

4. Minimum Certificate III level qualification in Individual Support, Disability, Education Support, Allied Health (OT, Speech, Physio), Early Childhood Education or a relevant field. To physically handle the demands of this role you will need to be fit, healthy and have no lingering injuries that prevent you from a fast unexpected run at pace. You will have quick reactions. This is a full time position with hours to be negotiated, and can include one weekday off, and one weekend day each week. 

Pay: @ 40 hours $1,680/week ($42/hour).

You must be:

-Experienced with early childhood care! 

-minimum studying/hold a cert 3 in early childhood (non negotiable) 
- a safe and experienced driver (non negotiable) with your own car (preferred) 
- Willing to focus on my child’s creativity and expression through arts, crafts, and daily outings to encourage outdoor play

- Maintain a safe, clean, and organised home environment (only light cleaning tasks required, no mopping the daycare floors here!)

The Role:
